I'm trying to hide certain elements from a table I implemented via DataTable.
I got the search function disabled but now I'm struggling with the "Show entries" bit.
I need the function in the backend for the table to work properly, I just dont want the frontend user to see the menu (since it is not really necessary).
I tried so far to block the display, but that didnt work.

You are looking for the dom option of datatables.net
In this case the standard is lfrtip I think, where;
l is the length control.f is the search filter.Removing these from the string will not inject that element into the page.
