What's the right way to set up the Spring Cloud project with the functions and unit testing?
I want to create a standalone web application with Spring Cloud Function and have a possibility to cover it by the unit tests. I've set it up according to the reference guide:
spring-boot-starter-parent.spring-cloud-dependencies to a dependencyManagement.spring-cloud-starter-function-web starter.junit-bom for the 5th version to a dependencyManagement.spring-boot-starter-test starter and excluded junit from it.junit-jupiter and mockito-junit-jupiter dependencies.My FunctionapApplication contains the bean uppercase as function, the exmaple from docs. I'm trying to make a test for it.

I guess the issue with @AutoConfigureWebTestClient and injecting WebTestClient.
Oleg, your question is a bit unclear in its title since it appears you explicitly want to deploy your function as web endpoint and test it as such. So that's different then "how to test spring functions". Anyway, we probably need to update our docs a bit to make it clear but here it is.
Suppose this is your application:
