I am getting the following error on an action that was previously working. I'm trying to create new roles for an Admin user.

Could the error be related to the Completed 401 Unauthorized ?
When you add a new role with javascript - Rails doesn't save anything to database and simply goes to new
action, builds a new role object and renders it on the page.
Since role is not saved to the database in the new
action - you can't have a backend destroy link for it.
So in short:
admin_role_path(@role)
in
link_to 'Delete', admin_role_path(@role), method: 'DELETE'
cannot be translated into a valid URL because @role
does not exist in the database and thus doesn't have an id
value and cannot be removed.
Instead of having backend deletion link - consider simply removing the newly built object from the page on click on link_to 'Delete'
, without throwing request to the backend.
