I am trying to launch Eclipse Nano in Windows 7, but getting the error:

Version 1.7 of the JVM is not suitable for this product. version 1.8 greater is required for Eclipse Nano in Windows 

I already have Java 8 installed on the system

sudo /usr/sbin/update-alternatives --config java

and select the jvm 1.8
