How to add field buttons to Log Explorer in GCP

in the Log Explorer you see buttons for http request fields:

How can I add them for my own labels i.e. a user or request id.

Solution

  • On the Log Explorer page, go to: Preferences

    And you can add your custom fields to the log explorer: custom fields

    Keep in mind that this is only possible is the logs fields are parsed:

    parsed fields
