Find Element by id with selenium java

Question

In Google Chrome Open, clicking on autocomlete works fine, then I got an error here WebElement autocomplete = driver.findElement(By.id("autocomplete"));

The reason for no such element exception is exactly what is mentioned in the other answer. That is, you haven't defined a waiting strategy.

Here is the refactored code which uses Explicit waits to locate elements:
