How to switch back to VS 2022 closed outlining style
In the latest Visual Studio 2022 update 17.9.0, they changed the closed outlining style to be like in VSCode

Solution
As Information: A Microsoft Developer named Marco Goertz created a Visual Studio extension called "Bring Back Plus/Minus" that restores the original expand/collapse to the +/- instead of the >/v. I've been using it since it came out and have had no issues with it.
