Azure Data Studio executable is not installed on macOS?

I have been using Azure Data Studio for 15 months and did not realize there is a command line tool available. Or actually is there a command line tool (on macOS)? There is no azuredatastudio in my path or under the Applications/Azure Data Studio.

Solution

You can find the Azure Data Studio command line tool within Azure Data Studio itself, as shown below:

If the terminal is not available in Azure Data Studio, go to View and select Terminal, as shown below:

Then, your terminal will be available, as shown above. For more information, you can refer to this MS Document.
