Unable to deploy Custom Runtime AppEngine in GCP

I tried to deploy a Custom Runtime Application in GCP, but it failed during the deployment with the following error message.

Can someone explain, what do I miss?

my app.yaml is

runtime : custom
env : flex

my Dockerfile is

FROM python
WORKDIR ./
ADD ./main.py ./
CMD [ "python","./main.py" ]
Solution

  • To deploy a custom runtime application, you can configure automatic scaling by specifying the number of instances in automatic_scaling section to your app.yaml

    Your app.yaml file would something similar to:

    Using automatic scaling

    runtime : custom
env : flex
automatic_scaling:
  min_num_instances: 1
  max_num_instances: 2
