Cannot build Shopware 6 admin with npm 8.11

Question

When running bin/build-administration.sh we get

We are using this versions:

$ npm -v
8.11.0
$ node -v
v16.15.1

and Shopware 6.4.11.1

With npm 8.5 it seemed to work.

I am wondering if this is a bug in Shopware or in npm?

I would guess something needs to be updated in Shopware?

run npm config set legacy-peer-deps=true in your project folder
