Hide status bar in MPMediaPickerController?

In my app I want to hide the status bar in the MPMediaPickerController. I have set the status bar hidden property in my plist and it makes no difference. Is there anyway to hide it?

  • Try -setStatusBarHidden:withAnimation:.
