Release Invoice via Rest API

I'm trying to release an Invoice via the Rest API, but I'm hitting a strange error resulting in an unexpected result.

From the Acumatica console, these are the steps that I take to release an Invoice successfully:

Create a SO
Create a Shipment
Confirm the Shipment
Prepare Invoice from SO screen
Release Invoice from Invoice screen

What's strange is that after getting the above error, the Invoice is released (Release button is gone), the Invoice status is updated from Balanced to Closed, but the Shipment in the SO shows this:

Any idea what am I doing wrong?

Turns out that I need to use the endpoint

.../20.200.001/SalesInvoice/Release
