Error while executing Angular command - ng serve

I have upgraded my Angular project to v10. While doing ng serve I am getting below error message

ERROR in node_modules/angular4-multiselect-dropdown/dist/multiselect.component.d.ts:72:22 - error NG6002: Appears in the NgModule.imports of AppModule, but could not be resolved to an NgModule class.

This likely means that the library (angular4-multiselect-dropdown/angular4-multiselect-dropdown) which declares AngularMultiSelectModule has not been processed correctly by ngcc, or is not compatible with Angular Ivy. Check if a newer version of the library is available, and update if so. Also consider checking with the library's authors to see if the library is expected to be compatible with Ivy.

I installed angular4-multiselect-dropdown package using the following command

npm install angular4-multiselect-dropdown@latest

My package looks like below

Solution

  • replace multiselect with material select with param "multiple" or try to create your own module for what

angular4-multiselect-dropdown incompitable with angular ivy engine
