I am trying to add a count label for each bar of a histogram in Shiny. I have seen that is a common question here and I have tried a lot of ways to do it but nothing works for my data.
As you can see in the image, the counts are inside of each bar and there are a lot of 1, I don't know why.
I want to show the count that they have in the y-axis (Frequency) in each bar. But not inside, above each bar.
Can anyone help me?
This is my code:
library(shiny)
library(ggplot2)
library(scales)

Thanks very much in advance,

You can use this :
library(shiny)
library(ggplot2)
ui <- fluidPage(
titlePanel("Histogram"),
sidebarLayout(
sidebarPanel(
),
mainPanel(
plotOutput("hist"),
)
)
)
server <- function(input, output) {
output$hist <- renderPlot(height=700,{
ggplot(df3, aes(val, fill=type)) +
geom_histogram(position = "identity", colour = "grey40", bins = 10) +
ggtitle("Here must be a title") +
xlab("Values") +
ylab("Frequency") +
facet_grid(type ~ .) +
stat_bin(bins = 10, geom="text", colour="black", size=3.5,
aes(label=..count..), position=position_stack(vjust=1.15)) +
scale_x_continuous(breaks=pretty(as.matrix(df3$val), n=10)) +
theme(strip.text.x = element_blank(),
strip.text.y = element_blank())
})
}
shinyApp(ui = ui, server = server)
