Appcelerator Studio Cannot Detect Valid iOS nor Android SDK on Mac

Question

Even though XCode, iOS and Android SDKs are installed. Appcelerator does not detects iOS nor Android SDKs and displays error:

Could not detect a valid SDK with version '6' or higher at '/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs

I installed the latest Appcelerator Studio, Oracle JDK 8, NodeJS 12.16.2, XCode 10.1, Android Studio 3.6.2

I tried reinstalling Appcelerator Studio, Oracle JDK, Node JS, setting the sdk path under preferences-Platforms and restarting my Mac multiple times and I still get the same error.

I was able to get both the IOS and Android SDK working after giving my user read & write permissions to the ~/.config folder and making sure both the Android SDK Tools and Android SDK Build Tools were installed under the Android SDK folder.

After starting appcelerator in debug the terminal outputed the error:

2020-04-20T21:53:20.877Z appcd:default-plugins:lerna error An unexpected error occurred: "EACCES: permission denied, scandir '/ Users/posuna/.config/yarn/link'".

I fixed the error after following these steps below suggested on the axway community here: Axway Community

1. Give your user read & write permissions to the "~/.config" folder by control+click on the folder, then click "GetInfo", then "Sharing & Permissions", then add your username with Read & Write privilege, then under the setting click apply to enclosed items. In my mac this is a hidden folder on the path "Macintosh HD/Users/MyUsername/.config"
2. Shut down Appcelerator Studio completely.
3. In the terminal run the command "appc appcd stop"
4. Delete the folder "~/.appcelerator/appcd/plugins". In my mac this is a hidden folder on the path "Macintosh HD/Users/MyUsername/"
5. Run the command "appc appcd start --debug"
6. Once you start seeing the CPU parameters as part of the above command start Appcelerator Studio again and check preferences->Studio->Platforms->iOS. It should recognize the iOS sdk on the specified path. In my case is "/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer"
