Facing issue with git clone command on mac OS catalina

Question

After Mac OS updated to Catalina, facing issue with git clone from my git repo

inspite of using correct username and password for cloning, still getting below error

remote: Invalid username or password. fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://github.com/My_Repo.git'

Please help me to resolve this.

Check first:

• your credential-osxkeychain for any GitHub credentials
• your account to check if you have 2FA activated, which would mean your password would need to be a PAT (Personal Access Token)
