DllExportAppDomainIsolatedTask failed unexpectedly on building a DLL

I am trying to build the Dll in C# in Visual Studio. Used the NuGet RGiesecke.DllExport. However for some reason it returns some error when building the Dll. Bellow is the description.

Error
The "DllExportAppDomainIsolatedTask" task failed unexpectedly. System.ArgumentException: Requested value 'Version46' was not found.

Solution

  • It's an issue about the DllExport package.

    Failing to compile in VS2017---Issue #29 Error The "DllExportAppDomainIsolatedTask" task failed unexpectedly. System.ArgumentException: Requested value 'Version46' was not found.

    You can have a look at this similar issue, you should consume the DllExport nuget package for higner versions.(At least 1.5.2).
