I am wanting to run an analysis of distances between cells (Available.tif) and central business districts (Town_centres.shp) along a road network (saved as Road_Network.shp) using the networkx analysis tool within python. I am using anaconda prompt and for some reason I am prompted with a permissions denied error (IO Errno :13).
I have tried running the script on a different machine i.e. my own personal laptop, to determine whether or not this is truly a permissions problem. However, I am prompted with the same error number (errno 13). I have also closed any open folders to allow the new .txt file to be saved.
Here is the script:
Calculate_fdist_values
Module intends to calculate the distances from all possible sites within the
study area producing a lookup table (fdist_lookup). Unfortunatly NetworkX greatly increases
the running time, therefore instead of calculating a performance in fdist each
iteration of the optimisation, we instead refer the development sites to this
lookup table (fdist_lookup)

Any ideas?
So I see this line in Conv_2_Coords
np.savetxt("P:/GrantRich/netwx/Results/", array, delimiter = ',')
It doesn't quite match the np.savetxt
statement in the error message, which is
np.savetxt("C:/Users/b6051089/Desktop/fdist/Results/", array, delimiter = ',')
So I guess you've moved from one machine to another along the way somewhere. However, in both instances there is no filename, just a path. Without a filename you are telling numpy to write to a directory, not to a file in a directory. So changing the statement to
np.savetxt("C:/Users/b6051089/Desktop/fdist/Results/results.csv", array, delimiter = ',')
or something similar should work for you.
