I am creating a application using KStreams and Avro. I have tried to use Embedded kafka for unit test case, however getting following exception:
Error creating bean with name 'kafkaEmbedded': Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.apache.kafka.test.TestUtils.tempDirectory()Ljava/io/File;
Is there any better way/ solution to write unit test cases with kafka stream?
I start an Avro schema-registry with each test with a distinct port. Like this:
