Program 'mysql.exe' failed to run: The specified executable is not a valid application

I have problem with mysql command in windows 10. I want to import a file test.sql to test database. I use this command in Windows PowerShell 

.\mysql -u root -p test < test.sql

PS return an error with this content

Program 'mysql.exe' failed to run: The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform.At line:1

I tried in windows CMD(also administrate) I get this message This app can't run in your PC

also I find mysql.exe in c/wamp64/bin/mysql/mysql5.7.11/bin the size of the app was wierd 0KB.

Is it normal?

what 's the problem?

  • I installed a new version of mysql using this answer and it worked in new version of mysql
