Unable to align image buttons inside relative and linear layout

Question

I want to have 3 image buttons in first row and 3 image buttons in second row. I tried implementing it with a combination of relative and linear layout but, somehow I am ending up with 1 image button in each row, and total of 6 rows.

Can someone please help me in aligning the 3 image boxes in first row and 3 boxes in second row.
