Error on netcoreapp1.1 when adding a netstandard1.6.1 reference

I tried to update my website project netcoreapp1.0 to netcoreapp1.1 and DAL project (netstandard1.6.1) but this error pops up when i try to add my DAL project as reference to my website project.

Solution

  • In your DAL project.json, the version of NETStandard.Library must be 1.6.1 like this:
