I want to reserve space for "adview" banner at bottom of an android activity without covering content

Question

I am trying to reserve space for google ads but they are overlapping my listview content. Here is the code of my activity layout

You can tell your listView to be above the AdView (in listview element add this attribute):

android:layout_alignParentTop="true"
android:layout_above="@+id/adView"
