I have created a user registration form on my work-in-progress website but when I hit 'Create User' on the website after typing valid information, it simply crashes back to VS with a TypeInitializationException error. The InnerException section tells me that the entry 'MyMainDBEntities' was already added in web.config but I tried commenting it out in that file and it still crashes the same. I followed a series of videos entering exactly what he did but my version does not work.

Once I formatted your web.config it was pretty obvious there are two occurrences of MyMainDbEntities in the <connectionStrings> section. Usually the error messages are right.
