I have a JTable
with the first column containing icons. I have read the tutorial on sorting and cannot figure out how to sort icons.
When the user clicks on the column header I need the icons to be sorted by color. The icons are circles that are green, red, or yellow.
How do I sort a column containing icons in a JTable
?
The order doesn't matter, just as long as the rows are ordered in the sort.
That's simplicity itself. Use table.setAutoCreateRowSorter(true);

It works just fine for me. The 3rd column is sorted ascending.
