Use ActionBarSherlock with Google map API V2


I want to use ActionBarSherlock with a Google map API V2. I've read a solution in here. But when extend my main ActionBarSherlock class, it missing so much lib for menthod ( like: findViewById, getSupportActionBar ..)

this is my ActionBarSherlock

Solution

  • Here is my approach with a full Screen map (note that using GoogleMap API V2 within a fragment within a Tab of you ABS will add some awefull black margin when you swipe, and it's a API issue so...) :

    A layout for the map fragment :

    A class for the map (that could be useful to do some stuff like correcting API bugs..)

    A simple transition without animation :

    Now for the Manifest work :
