I have the following XML:

I tried the following with no luck:

$data = new SimpleXMLElement($xml);

$data->registerXPathNamespace('ns1','http://endpoint.websitecom/');
$part = $data->xpath("//ns1:return");
var_dump($part[0]->children("ns1",true));
