Twitter search query both by @user and #hashtag

I'd like to embed twitter widget which will contain search results with both hashtag and user account. '#hashtag OR @username' doesn't work

    Using search string #hashtag OR @username seems to be working just fine (if # or @ is more popular then the other then you might not see the less popular one)
